State of Emergency COVID-19
A State of Emergency has been declared in Western Australia under the Emergency Management Act as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic that is affecting the entire world and indeed our very own community.
Under WA laws, a number of Directions have been made in the interests of slowing the spread of COVID-19.
The Directions impact a number of activities and for full details, please visit the WA Government website
Strict border controls are in place to limit the spread of COVID-19 in WA. You cannot enter Western Australia unless an exemption has been granted.
For more Directions, and full details, please visit the WA Government website.
A new app, G2G PASS, has been developed to provide an efficient way of applying for and demonstrating proof of an exemption before travelling to Western Australia. G2G PASS is now live and available for use by industry and the general public, if exempt to travel.
For more information on how to access the app, please visit the WA Government website.
There is now an easier way to comply with COVID-19 quarantine checks.
Instead of having police officers visit your home for checks, you can receive push notifications. Respond with a selfie and you’re done!
Anyone with a smartphone and a G2G PASS can download the G2G Now app to register for virtual check-ins.
For more information, please visit the G2G Now website.
The 13COVID Hotline (132 68 43) provides a one-stop phone service for members of the public to direct their enquiries regarding WA’s COVID-19 response, covering health, travel, education, business, public sector and broader community information. It features the ability to speak to operators between 8am and 6pm to discuss specific issues relating to COVID-19.
