Rangers to the Rescue
Armadale Rangers have been providing assistance the WA Police Historical Society for more than five years now and their help is always greatly appreciated.
During their last visit they not only made a significant donation, they also spent several hours cleaning and sorting items from the museum's long term storage facility.
The Armadale rangers have acted as a guard of honour for the Historical Society’s dedication services at Karrakatta cemetery and this is something they plan to continue to do. “They have also pledged to provide their services for any future clean-ups we have at the museum,” said Historical Society President Dave MacDonald.
“The rangers were rewarded with a tour of our facilities and a sausage sizzle in recognition of their hard work and continued support.”
Both Unit leader Ben Boekholt and Unit Coordinator Armadale Sergeant James McLaren are members of the WA Police Historical Society, and membership is open to all current and former police personnel.
